BASEL KNOCKS MANCHESTER UNITED OUT OF UEFA CHAMPION LEAGUE

The final group matches of the uefa champions league ended in a dramtic fashion as manchester united was knocked out by swiss side Basel. Basel took the lead in the 9th minute of the match and sealed the win with less than 10minutes from normal time. manchester united pulled one back in the 86th minute but it was a little too late for the english champions. Manchester city could not make it to the round of last 16 despite a comfortable victory over a young side fielded by Bayern Munich. Napoli made it through at the expense of Manchester city after beating villareal 2-0. Real madrid beat Ajax to keep their perfect winning record.
