CHELSEA AGREE NICOLAS ANELKA DEAL

Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka is said to have agreed a deal with Chinese club SHANGAI SHENHUA on a two year. The deal will also see him earn £8m yearly. A statement on Chelsea website said 'Chelsea and Shangai Shenhua have agreed terms for nicolas Anelka to leave on a permanent deal in the January transfer window'. The striker has been out of favour since Andres Villas Boas took over the club at the start of the new premier league season which led him to ask for a transfer away from the club. It still remains to be seen if Didier Drogba will join him there. Anelka is due to leave chelsea in January when the transfer windows opens.

ARSENAL'S LEFT BACK SANTOS OUT FOR 3MONTHS WITH ANKLE INJURY

Arsenal's left back could be out for 3months with an ankle injury according to skysports news. Santos picked up the injury during the final group game of the champions league against Olympiakos. Santos has had surgery and will be out for 3months. Arsenal have already lost Bacary Sagna, Carl Jekinson, and Gibbs to injury and caanot afford any more injuries, so this is a big blow. FOOTBALL AROUND THE WORLD: LAST WEEKEND RESULTS

Arsenal beat everton 2-1 at the emirates stadium after a hard fought win to contine their winning streak. Manchester united trashed wolves 4-1 to recover from their champions league exit in the hands of Basel. Wigan beat West Brom by 2 goals to 1. New promoted side Swansea beat fulham 2-0, In sunday night footbal, Liverpool meat QPR by 1-0. Bolton lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa. Sunderland had a 2-1 late winner at home to blackburn which saw Martin Oneil record his first win as Sunderland manger. Stoke city had a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the britannia stadium but the talking point was the poor officiating which denied Emmanuel Adebayor an equalising goal after he was ruled to have been off side and Kaboul was sent out after a second yellow. In the German bundesliga, Dormund had a 1-1 draw at home to K'slautern, Bayern munich beat ten man stuggart 2-1. In Italian league, Ac milan had a 2-2 draw away to Bologna.

ARSENAL WIN AGAIN, EVERTON WOES CONTINUE

Arsenal looked to continue their good form even as they hosted Everton at the Emirates stadium. A win would add colour to their 125th anniversary as a club. They out played Everton but their lack of finishing and wasteful performance mean't that the first half ended goaless. In the second half, the gunners played well and had chances to score but didn't take them. On the other hand Everton made things difficult for the gooners. In the 70th minute, Robin Van Persie scored a stunning goal after a superb cross from Alex Song. Everton battled back but the final result was a hard fought and well deserved 1-0 victory in favour of arsenal

NORWICH CITY SINK NEWCASTLE UNITED

After a dream start to the English premier league season, Newcastle United have not won in their last four matches with manager Alan Pardew having to deal with injuries to so many key players. The match looked like it will end in a goaless first half before Wes Hoolahan scored in the 39th minute. Demba Ba then equalised before half time. Grant Holt gave Norwich city the edge when he scored in the 59th minute. Steve Morison scored another in the 63rd minute to make it 3-1. In the 65th minute, Dan Gosling was shown red for a foul on Martin Russell. Demba Ba scored Newcastle second of the night but Holt header eight minutes from time secured a 4-2 victory for Norwich city. The question is will Newcastle regain the form that took them as far as second in the league this season with no win from their last four games? It remains to be seen

VIDIC OUT FOR SEASON

More bad news for Manchester united players and fans as Nemanja Vidic's season has come to an end after Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed it in an interview he granted Skysports news. The manager confirmed that Vidic will see the his specialist on monday to fix a date for the surgery. Now it is left to be seen if Chris Smalling and other centre backs can fill the void Vidic has left. Manchseter united have won and lost more games without him. He has always been a fantastic player for Manchester united and will be greatly missed. We wish him speedy recovery

Wayne Rooney has Euro ban reduced

Wayne Rooney's three match ban in the Euro 2012 has been reduced by one match after a hearing in Nyon. He will now serve only two match ban and will be available to play in the final group match against Ukraine even though it still remains to be seen if he will be picked by england manager Fabio Capello.
